Roles and Timeline


Project Manager (IC of blog):Matthaeus Choo Zhi Jie
  • Responsible for all documentation and “care” of the mousetrap.
  • Ensures that all tasks are completed and documented on time.
  • Has final say on any issue that cannot be settled by consensus

Drivetrain Engineer (IC of data analysis): Jerry Lew JiaJun
  • Responsible for developing system to transfer energy from the “engine” to the wheels.
  • Ensures proper testing and documentation of all drivetrain components.

Wheel Engineer (IC of construction and testing):Alex Min Khant Htein
  • responsible for wheel choice and design
  • sources materials for wheels
  • works with Drivetrain Engineer to determine wheel-to-axle ratio and attachment

Chassis Engineer:Lucian Ho
  • responsible for the look and function of the body (chassis) of the car
  • sources all materials for the chassis
  • works with Drivetrain and Wheel Engineers to ensure function and look of wheels and drivetrain components

    Front wheel & axle, chassis must be attached to the mousetrap and Lever arm must be attached to the mousetrap by T2W1.
Back wheels & axle must be done and attached to the chassis by T2W2.

- 2.2 testing & modification
At least 4 testingvideos must be recorded and 3 modifications must be made to improve the car by T2W2 30th March.
Meeting dates : Wednesday and Thursday
Alex will bring the model back home for constructing/modifying it at home.
